Favre adds to a lifetime of screwing the Vikings

So all the fun Favre-related drinking games aside, what does this mean from a Fantasy perspective? I would like to think Favre's a value pick, since everyone hates him. However there are a couple things weighing against this:

1) AP, who remains the star of this team (value might even get a boost until people realize Favre's arm is shot/old).
2) Viking's stellar wide-receivers. Todd Pinkston could still start for this team.
3) Favre's semi-miraculous ability to fade down the stretch (your playoff run), only to be rejuvenated following the next year's training camp.

Seriously, I would not pick him in a 16 round draft. At all. I would pick him after Shaun Hill. I do think he could serve as a matchup QB for bye weeks or if your starter gets hurt (especially in weeks 1-10, or any time they play Detroit), but I can't see picking him over someone with a remote chance to contribute all year.

B: 4.7/1474 is more usual
B: every statistic is down across the board the past 3 years
B: and last year he was hurt a lot
B: yeah i know
B: i feel like it's all explicable though
